CoolSprings Galleria will undergo multimillion-dollar renovations later this month.
Exterior and interior renovations will give the 25-year-old mall a more contemporary feel, mall officials say.
“We are thrilled to offer shoppers a newly refreshed look and updated amenities that complement the upgrades made during our redevelopment in 2015," David Meadows, general manager of CoolSprings Galleria, said at a news conference Friday.
“The renovation of CoolSprings Galleria draws inspiration from its location in Franklin — a suburb of Nashville with sophisticated charm, eclectic personality and a rich history dating back to the Civil War,” Matthew Beam said in a news release. Beam is an associate design leader with Omniplan, the architect of the project. “The intent of this renovation is to elevate the shopping experience with a timeless and elegant design that also keeps millennials in mind," Beam said.
The mall has had several additions, including an American Girl store, H&M, Sephora, Belk and Connors Steak & Seafood, within the past year. Kings Bowling and Entertainment will open in May.
The renovations will include:
New stone work and lighting to four entrances.
A new color palette of gray, white and hints of blue.
New soft seating areas, paint and tile flooring in the common area.
Upgraded restrooms.
A reconfigured food court with new tables, chairs, booths, bartops with charging stations and enhanced lighting features.
Renovations are set to begin in early March and end in mid-October.
The majority of renovations will take place after shopping hours, said Sarah Enlow, marketing director for CoolSprings Galleria. Stores will remain open.
